School Facilities

The school building comprises:-

  • Seven large classrooms and a Nursery.
  • A multi-purpose hall is in the middle of the building and is used for our daily worship and assembly, PE, games, music and for school meals.
  • There are also areas for teaching children who require additional learning support and quieter areas for children’s reading.
  • There is full wheelchair access throughout the school.
  • Purpose built library.
  • Intervention rooms.

The school has two large tarmac playgrounds at either end of the school, grass and garden areas and an environmental studies area.  We have two courtyards incorporated into the school buildings which are used for quiet areas, out of class lessons and gardening club.  We also have a Sensory Garden, the Secret Garden (which has outside musical instruments, wilderness walk and quiet sitting area).

Table and bench sets are situated in each playground and there a climbing frame and slide for the younger children in the KS1 playground and there are agility beams and a climbing frame in the KS2 playground

Five a side football goals and netball rings are also available at playtimes along with play equipment.  There is also a Playpod which contains items for the children to play with during lunchtime play.

The school is enclosed by a fence and the gates are electronically controlled for security.
